Welcome to Beachside Budget! As a full-time working mom to two wonderful kids, I’m all about balancing work, family life, and budgeting, all while embracing the calming vibes of beachside relaxation!

In 2021, we made the big decision to leave behind the hustle of DC and move to South Carolina. It’s been the perfect place to start our family – bringing a slower pace of life much closer to the small suburban town I grew up in. And while I didn’t have a beach just 15 minutes away as a kid, we now get to enjoy that with our toddlers. Most weekends, you can find us packing up and heading to the beach. While we’ve enjoyed sunny, picture-perfect days, we’ve also had a blast on the cold, windy, sand-in-your-face days because, well, kids!
